Fondation Louis Vuitton曾在 2018 年舉辦展覽《Jean-Michel Basquiat》，並取得空前成功。今回 Fondation Louis Vuitton 再下一城，為大眾呈獻全新展覽《Basquiat x Warhol. Painting 4 Hands》。是次展覽由 Dieter Buchhart 與 Anna Karina Hofbauer 擔任策展人，並與 Fondation Louis Vuitton 策展人 Olivier Michelon 攜手合作，為大眾帶來多達 300多件作品，並以 Jean-Michel Basquiat 及 Andy Warhol 互相繪畫及攜手創作的作品為主，當中更包括 2 人共同創作的 80 幅油畫。
Jean-Michel Basquiat 及 Andy Warhol 最初只是互相繪畫對方的人像畫，在經理人 Bruno Bischofberger 的發起下，開始了與義大利藝術家 Francesco Clemente 攜手創作之路，並共同創作了 15 件作品。此後，2 人繼續爆發對創作熱誠並不斷聯手創作，交流的能量及力量，均能在今回展出的《Ten Punching Bags (Last Supper)》、《African Mask》等作品當中體現出來。

Jean-Michel Basquiat 曾說過：「Andy would start one (painting) and put something very recognizable on it, or a product logo, and I would sort of deface it. Then I would try to get him to work some more on it, I would try to get him to do at least two thing」Andy Warhol 亦都曾為此作解釋：「I drew it first and then I painted it like Jean-Michel. I think those paintings we’re doing together are better when you can’t tell who did which parts」務求2人攜手創作的作品，能夠讓大家看不出誰畫了哪些部分，讓作品有更好的效果。
